You can configure your Speedtouch router in different ways:

Wizard Setup
|
- Enter the CD into your CD-ROM drive
- Follow the onscreen instructions and the Wizard will attempt to detect your router. When it does, click Next
- Depending on version, you will see one of the following screens

Select Region: World, Provider: Generic ISP, Service: PPPoA (DHCP-NAT)
|

|
Select Region: UK, Provider: All, Service: Dynamic Address
|
- On the next Screen, you may need to select VPI/VCI: 0*38
- Enter your supplied Firenet username and password
- On the next screen, you may be asked for another username and password.
This is the Speedtouch 510's security username and password. The default values are Username: admin, Password: admin.
If you enter different values here, do take a note of the new settings

Router Configuration using the web interface
|
- Log on to the Speedtouch router
- Open your web browser
- In the address bar, type http://10.0.0.138 and press enter
|
|
 |
|
- When prompted for a username and password, enter username: admin and password: admin
- You should now be logged on to the router's home page
- Select Connect from the menu on the left of the page
|
|
- Enter your supplied Firenet username and password
- Click on the Save All button on the left menu, and OK when prompted
- You should now be able to connect to the Internet.
If not, restart the router and try again
